Meenakari is an art form originating from India, in which designs are created on metal surfaces, usually made of gold or silver, by using bright colored enamels. The designs are usually floral or abstract patterns that are created by etching the metal surface and then filling the etchings with enamel. The process is repeated several times to create the desired design.
