The museum collection includes archaeological objects, stone sculptures bronze images, epigraphical objects, coins, armoury, natural history objects, art and craft objects, textiles, prehistoric objects, mining and geological specimens, ethnological objects, musical instruments, palm-leaf manuscripts for which there is a special gallery.
The museum has a library.
